Unlocking Movement: Neck and Shoulder Mobility with Hannah

  • Citizen Yoga Studio 500 South Washington Avenue Royal Oak, MI, 48067 United States (map)

The neck and shoulders are among the most overworked, under loved structures in the body and often the first place tension takes hold. In this workshop, Hannah Andersen takes a targeted, anatomically informed approach to restoring mobility and function in these complex regions.

We'll work through the cervical spine, shoulder girdle, and surrounding soft tissue. Exploring the role of the thoracic spine, ribcage, and scapular stability in creating true, lasting freedom of movement. Expect deliberate, intelligent sequencing that builds body literacy alongside physical relief.

You'll leave with:

  • Greater range of motion in the neck, shoulders, and upper back

  • An understanding of the structures involved and how to work with them

  • A personal practice you can return to again and again

Appropriate for all levels, including those managing chronic tension or hypermobility.

This workshop counts as 2 hours towards 300hr programming, please email elyse@citizenyogastudio.com to register at the 300HR discounted rate.
