How to modify classes for all levels so every class is accessible and inclusive
Purpose-driven teachers who teach and educate beyond the physical asana

Are present in our community and commit to practicing at the studios at least once per week

Entrepreneurs who will utilize techniques and tools in-person and online to build their following and class attendance
To best acquaint you with Citizen’s community, teaching styles, and expectations, please take at least 10 classes at Citizen before applying to teach. When taking class, please introduce yourself to the front desk staff and the teacher. Have you taken at least 10 classes at Citizen Yoga? *

To teach at Citizen, we recommend that you are already actively teaching 2 classes per week. This might be in your community, with family and friends, in a gym, at your workplace, or at another studio. Are you currently teaching at least 2 classes per week?

NO - Please reapply once you have gained additional teaching experience.

Upload Your Yoga Resume + Yoga Alliance Credentials
Upload a 10 minute video of your teaching. Please make sure to include cuing breath, Sun A, and at least one side of a flow.
Write out and upload a 10 pose sequence/flow towards a pivotal pose (Sun A’s + Sun B’s should not be included in the list). Include props for two of your poses, how the student should use the prop, and why it was used in the pose.
