What does it mean to live yoga?
This 21-hour module invites students into a transformative exploration of the four classical paths of yoga: Jnana, the yoga of knowledge and self-inquiry; Bhakti, the yoga of devotion; Karma, the yoga of service and action; and Hatha, the path of discipline.
Drawing from foundational texts and philosophical tradition, we will examine how each path offers a distinct entry point into spiritual development. This module makes traditional teachings alive and applicable, asking students to identify their own dominant path and recognize its expression in how they move, teach, and relate.
Students will leave with a broadened philosophical foundation, a more authentic teaching voice, and a personal practice that extends far beyond the mat.
This weekend immersion counts as 21 hours towards Citizen Yoga's 300-hour teacher training program, and is also open to any interested student or teacher.
