Sirsasana (headstand) is known as the king of all poses and brings challenge, strength and joy into our practice. Many benefits of this pose include increased blood flow to the head, calming the brain and relieving stress...plus it's fun! Getting upside down and seeing things a bit differently provides lightness and play that we may be missing as adults.
We will prep our bodies by building a few relevant yoga flows and explore different variations of Sirsasana. You will leave the workshop with a better understanding of Sirsasana and how you can integrate working this pose into your practice.
