This workshop is an invitation to come back to yourself.
You'll begin with 60 minutes of intentional yoga, movement designed to open the body, ease held tension, and create space where you may have been holding without knowing it. From there, Sitara will guide you through 30 minutes of gua sha practice, introducing this ancient East Asian healing technique as a tangible tool for your own self-care ritual.
Gua sha — the gentle scraping of a smooth tool along the skin which stimulates circulation, moves stagnant Qi, and supports the lymphatic system. When paired with yoga, it becomes something more: a complete practice of listening to your body and tending to it with intention.
You'll leave with new movement patterns, hands-on experience with gua sha tools, and a self-care routine you can take home and make your own. Gua sha tool will be provided.
