Anatomy for the Movement Educator with Hannah Andersen

  • Citizen Yoga Bloomfield 6400 Telegraph Road Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48301 United States (map)

IN-STUDIO + ONLINE

Join Hannah Andersen for an immersive weekend of breaking down the vast world of anatomy into practical and digestible pieces, specific to the needs of those who teach movement in group or individual settings. We will investigate and apply basic anatomy of the musculoskeletal, nervous, and fascial systems in relationship to movement, and emphasize the importance of language, scope of practice, and complexity of the human form. A combination of theory and hands-on experiences will allow participants somatic exploration of each region of their body, followed by facilitated discussions about practically applying anatomical knowledge to teaching.
