Katonah Yoga teaches us that the body is a map — full of geometry, pattern, and possibility. Clay asks us to slow down, get quiet, and let our hands lead.
In this one-of-a-kind workshop, we weave these two practices together. We’ll open with a Katonah-informed yoga practice that brings awareness to the hands, wrists, and the intelligence of touch. Then we’ll move to the table, where you’ll create something with clay guided and unhurried with Janeah. Hand building with clay is mindful and steady as a piece is carefully refined into its final shape. From start to finish, the process is a tactile experience that encourages creativity, focus, and patience.
It’s part practice, part art, part ritual.
