MAY 16 - JUNE 20 | In-Person + Online

Elevate is a 50-hour practical bridge from a 200HR teacher training to wherever you plan to go next in your teaching. For anyone who completed a 200HR certification and is actively teaching or actively seeking opportunities to teach, Elevate will help you:

  • Reabsorb + apply what you learned in 200HR

  • Fill in gaps of what was missing from 200HR (alignment, instruction, props, hands-on, room management, pranayama, etc)

  • Learn what it takes to become a teacher at CY

  • The Spring 2026 session of Elevate is focused on Designing a Class, and will offer in-depth teaching and practice in:

    • Pacing and Citizen Yoga class timelines

    • The energetic arc of a class

    • Creating a personal class template

    • Designing a class for beginners, seasoned practitioners, and other specialty focuses

    • Pose breakdown of foundational poses for any class type

    • Hands-on adjustments

    • The art of giving and receiving

  • Tuition:

    • $895 standard pricing

    • $750 Enrolled 300HR participants (hourly rate)

    • $650 CY 200HR Grads

    Tuition Includes:

    • 40 contact hours with lead trainers

    • 5 observations and/or hands on adjustments in trainers class

    • 1 formal peer feedback session

    • Reading, writing, and sequencing practice

    • 300HR YTT students: training counts as 50 hours towards CY 300HR program

  • May 16 - June 20, 2026

    • Every Tuesday online from 5:30-7:30pm

    • Saturday at the Bloomfield studio from 12:30-5:30pm.*

    *Sat, May 23 will move to Thur, May 21 to accommodate for Memorial Day weekend. No session on 5/23.
